Why the name "Musical Innertube"?
While in college, John and Don hosted a radio show on KUCI-FM in Irvine, CA. Once, they went on the air to introduce "a soothing musical interlude." They mouth-fumbled the announcement so that it came out, "And now, here's a soothing musical innertube." And the name stuck.
