The Musical Innertube - Volume 2, Number 186 - Dan DeLuca and the Lost Innertube

A funny thing happened on the way to November of 2020. We'd recorded a terrific interview with Philadephia Inquirer music critic Dan DeLuca - but you couldn't hear a word he said. Now, thanks to AI, we're able to bring you this Lost Innertube episode.

Yes, even though the "Lost Innertube" was recorded five years ago, a couple of the websites Dan mentioned during our discussion are still hard at work:

Dan DeLuca
I'm The Inquirer's Pop Music Critic. I cover Philly music makers of all genres, spotlighting local acts on the rise, telling stories from throughout the city's rich music history, and reviewing big-name touring acts when they come to town.
I've been at The Inquirer since 1990, when I started out as an editorial assistant, making coffee and copies and serving as support staff for a team of national reporters.
Before that, I grew up by the beach in Ventnor in South Jersey. I graduated from Holy Spirit High School and the University of Pennsylvania, where I majored in English and political science. I learned more from a three-minute record than I ever learned in school. I live outside of Philadelphia in Montgomery County.
