New Videos!

 Hi there!

First and foremost, let us sincerely thank you again for listening to the Musical Innertube. It's fun for us to be able to talk with people who are so deeply and passionately involved in their ideas and occupations, and we hope some of that fun rubs off in the podcasts.

When the Innertube started around five years ago, most podcasts were audio only.  We didn't - and still don't - mind this, because we both have lots of experience in radio. (In fact, it's been said on more than one occasion that we have the perfect faces for radio.)  But as podcasting technology evolved, much of the software we used began to automatically record the video as well. We decided recently to take advantage of that and post the video recordings of the podcasts on You Tube, with a few exceptions - some of the people we talk with would prefer not to be on video, and sometimes there's a technical glitch.

Recent re-arranging of the Innertube archives uncovered a lot of video recordings of podcasts we had previously released only on audio. Some of them, we feel, are good enough to post on You Tube as new video versions, so we'll be doing that from time to time in the future. The new video versions of old podcasts will have the words "New Video" on the identifying thumbnail pictures, mostly because we couldn't think of anything more clever to put there.

Perhaps you missed these podcasts the first time around; perhaps you would enjoy hearing them again, or seeing the people we're talking with as the conversation is happening. These new videos are for you! Plus, there are things in some of these new videos that are purely visual that we had to cut out of the audio versions, such as Tad Stones showing us his Chip and Dale bus sign.
